The Road to Nationals

On March 4th through the 6th, our students attended the Massachusetts BPA State Leadership Conference. They excelled beyond our wildest dreams by placing first place in three events and qualifying nine students for the BPA National Leadership Conference. This conference is where are students will compete against other students from across the country. The conference is taking place in Orlando, Florida on May 10th through the 14th.

Our current challenge is funding this opportunity for our students. We do not have an accurate amount of money that the school will provide. The bottom line is we need to raise the majority of the money. The estimated cost for five students and two chaperons is approximately $6400 which includes registration fees, hotel and air fare. The air fare could increase based on when we purchase it. Any other additional costs including food is not included.

We are looking for help

We are looking for companies to sponsor our students to participate in this tremendous opportunity. Also, individuals can donate via our GoFundMe Page. If you have any questions please contact me at szavatsky@ssvotech.org or call me at school at (781) 878-8822 x313
