It’s important that you the parent maintain a positive balance on your student’s lunch account.
Monthly deposits must be made in order to continue to use the POS system. Payments can be made online at. ,or the Cafeteria accepts payments daily. Please check the balance often so not to stop service on your student’s account.

Nutrikids Information

South Shore Vocational Technical High School is excited to provide parents with Nutrikids, a safe and secure portal for funding your child’s meal account with the school.  This service also provides parents the ability to view your child’s account balance and food choices as well as setting up a low balance email alert through a Website called Your child will receive a student ID card which allows them to access their electronic account.

Lunches cannot be charged. A student needs cash or a balance on their account to purchase lunch.  There are three options for depositing funds for cafeteria purchases:

Pay online: The Point of Sale System charges a convenience fee of $1.95 per deposit transaction. By depositing $50.00 or more your child will be credited with one free lunch to offset the cost of the convenience fee. Parents placing money into multiple meal accounts will only be assessed one fee per deposit transaction.  SSVT does not profit from the use of this site.

Check: A check may be brought to the cafeteria for deposit into your child’s individual account. Checks are to be made payable to “South Shore Regional School District”.   Please make sure your child’s name is printed clearly on the check to insure credit. Checks must be brought to the cafeteria before 10:00 A.M. You may also mail Checks to Deb Beary 476 Webster Street, Hanover, MA 02339.

Cash: You or your child can bring in cash to be deposited into their account. Parents should bring in cash between 8:30am-10:00am. Students may deposit cash during lunch when going through the lunch line.

Balances remaining on the meal account at the end of the school year are not refundable but may be carried over to the next school year or to another family member. Parents should plan accordingly.

Seniors must pay all charges before being allowed to participate in Graduation Ceremonies.

If you are opening a new account for online payment of your child’s school lunch, click here for instructions on setting up an account (you will need your child’s 4-digit student ID). If you previously had an account with you’ll notice that there is a new website for adding money to your child’s account – You can continue to use the same username and password you had set up with and any funds you had remaining in your nutrikids account have been transferred to the MySchoolBucks account.
