Gale Power Search & State Electronic Resources (Infotrac)
Choose a database to search, or use the Gale Power Search to searh multiple databases. Access to 43 databases covering all subject areas, professional resources, and also The New York Times, The Boston Globe, and Encyclopedia Britannica. **"In Context" databases are especially student-friendly.

Student Research Center (Ebsco)
A one stop database that searches through Mas Ultra, Health Source, Newspaper Source, TOPICsearch, and Vocational and Career Collection. A great place to start your research.

Newspaper Source (Ebsco)
Provides cover-to-cover full text for more than 40 U.S. & international newspapers. Selective full text for 398 regional U.S. newspapers as well as full text television and radio news transcripts

Student Resources (Ebsco)
This database allows you to choose from and search through multiple databases at once. To search within a single database, click the database name. To select more than one database to search, check the boxes next to the databases and click Continue.

Health Source--Consumer Edition (Ebsco)
The richest collection of consumer health information available to libraries worldwide, providing information on many health topics including the medical sciences, food sciences and nutrition, childcare, sports medicine and general health. Health Source: Consumer Edition provides access to nearly 80 full text, consumer health magazines.

Vocational and Career Collection (Ebsco)
Provides full text coverage for nearly 340 trade and industry-related periodicals.

NoveList (Ebsco)
A guide to fiction, including information on authors and their major works. Includes book lists, recommended reads, and book discussion guides.

Professional Development Collection (Ebsco)
Designed for professional educators, this database provides a highly specialized collection of nearly 520 high quality education journals, including more than 350 peer-reviewed titles. This database also contains more than 200 educational reports. Professional Development Collection is the most comprehensive collection of full text education journals in the world.

ERIC (Ebsco)
ERIC, the Educator Resource Information Center, contains more than 1.3 million records and links to more than 323,000 full text documents.

Works Cited Resources

For assistance, check with Ms. Lebo or your English teacher. Note that there are different styles used to cite sources. Most classes require you to use the MLA style. However, teachers may prefer other styles such as APA.
