Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning/Refrigeration

The HVAC-R course will provide students with a basic understanding of the theories of heating, ventilation, A/C and refrigeration. The course includes specific training in the individual components of heating and cooling systems, and instruction in electrical, controls and wiring schematics.

Course Content

The HVAC program at SSVT includes: safety, fittings, soldering, brazing, piping, valves, pumps, electrical circuits, refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating principles and theory.
