Electrical
The Electrical program prepares you for entrance into the licensed electrical field including Residential and Industrial Wiring.
Generators, motors and controls, and industrial electronics will be part of your training. Students plan, layout, install and repair wiring and services according to electrical codes. National and local codes are stressed in the classroom and shop and on “live” jobs outside the school.
Course Content
The Electrical program at SSVT will teach you: safety, use of hand tools, splicing, soldering, circuits
with cable and raceway conduit, direct current, motors, generators, transformers, and national
electrical code.
