Culinary Arts

The Culinary Arts program gives students instruction and experience in baking, cooking, retailing and dining room service. In addition, restaurant management and the planning and preparation of meals are covered within the diverse curriculum. Chefs or cooks work in restaurants, hotels, resorts, hospitals, schools and colleges.

 

Course Content

Our Culinary Arts program will prepare you for: dining room service, retailing, weights and measurements, cooking, baking, mixing, line cooking, stock control, cake decorating, herbs and spices, chef and pastry chef training, inventory purchasing and receiving, and management skills. In addition, students will also be NRA Servsafe Certified.
